Only aged tea that comes from Yunnan province (the first tea region in the world) can be called Pu-Erh tea. Some tea trees grow wild in this region and can be up to a thousand years old. Our Pu erh Tuo Cha has exquisitely smooth and earthy flavours.

Using ancient methods that have been passed down from generation to generation for hundreds of years, the tea leaves are carefully harvested, heat treated and sundried. They are then sent to specialist Pu erh producers who use age-old recipes to mix, steam and compress the leaves before ageing. Pu erh tea leaves are steamed and compressed into little nests or mushroom-hat shapes that are aged for up to three years. The Tuo cha are then individually wrapped to ensure the best possible result.
